KeepJoy: Home Declutter Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KeepJoy: Home Declutter mobile application and related services ("Services"). By downloading, accessing, or using KeepJoy: Home Declutter, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and Account

  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, or use the Services under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any credentials used to access the Services, and for all activities under your account.
  • You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or other security breach.

2. Services

KeepJoy: Home Declutter provides tools to help you declutter, organize, record before/after changes, preserve memories, and view related statistics and insights. The specific features may change over time as we improve or update the Services. We may add, modify, or remove features at our discretion.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
  • Upload or share any content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, abusive, hateful, harassing, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems, or interfere with their normal operation;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the app, except where permitted by law;
  • Use the Services to send unauthorized or unsolicited advertising or promotional materials;
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations in connection with your use of the Services.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Certain features of the Services may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase (“Subscription Services”).
  • Payments are processed by third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their terms and policies.
  • Unless required by applicable law or the app store’s policies, we generally cannot provide direct refunds.
  • We may change subscription prices, plans, or features from time to time. If we do, we will provide notice through the app or other reasonable means. Your continued use or renewal after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing or terms.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload through the Services, such as photos, notes, labels, and other entries (“User Content”). You grant us a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, back up, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe any third-party rights. Except as required by law or with your consent, we will not publicly disclose your User Content.

6. Modifications, Suspension, and Termination

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice, for maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you materially breach these Terms, violate applicable laws, or misuse the Services.
  • You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion. Deleting your account may result in loss of access to your data and content stored in the app.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for access to the Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms will be applied in a manner consistent with applicable mandatory laws in your region. Where local consumer protection or other mandatory laws conflict with these Terms, such laws will prevail to the extent of the conflict. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably may be submitted to a competent court in accordance with applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
